Blurb/Synopsis:
Five years ago Dahlia Adair left her business partners, the two men she loved. Unable to choose between them, she vanished with their venture capital and their hearts. Betrayed by the woman they both love, Todd Shelton and Cooper Montgomery dissolved their company and their friendship.

When Todd and Cooper reunite, they can't move forward with their new business until they confront the woman who called them "interchangeable" before she disappeared.

Five years later, Dahlia wants to live without looking over her shoulder, Todd wants his love and his friend back, and Cooper wants answers. With the help of Madame Eve and 1Night Stand, they give Dahlia the chance to live free of repercussions for her crimes if she’ll agree to spend one night with them, vowing to make her aware of their differences, and offer her a life they're sure she can't refuse.

“We want what you didn’t give us before.” Though he tried to appear casual, relaxed, Cooper’s jaw twitched, betraying his tension.
The money. No doubt the money. She took hold of the edge of the table, trying to stop her shaking. “What might that be?”
“The chance to know about the other.” He strummed his fingers on his knee.
Todd put a hand on her shoulder. “The chance to show you the difference.”
They didn’t mention anything about money. Her stomach twisted at the way Cooper stared her down as if daring her to say no, and she shifted her gaze to Todd.
His eyes remained clouded, half closed. The answer to her question came in the form of heat igniting between her thighs. She shifted in her seat. What were they offering, a challenge, a choice, or her ultimate fantasy?
“What if I say no?”
Neither man answered.
One night with them. Her mind screeched to a halt. Instead of her dream, she pictured tomorrow morning, getting back on a plane to South America, returning to the small marketing consulting gigs that barely paid her rent, and spending her nights waiting to be found out. She needed to locate her spine and get what she truly needed out of the night. “One night and we part?”
Todd moved in closer. “Isn’t this what you always wanted?”
Yes, that was everything she wanted and planned for five years ago. Of course, back then it wasn’t one night, it was forever.
Wait, she couldn’t want. Her wants didn’t count.
What she needed was to get up in the morning without a bulls-eye on her back.
She licked her lips. “No repercussions or retaliation?” They both knew her well and understood her question.
Silence. Even the waves seemed to stop.
At last, they both nodded.
She took a breath. When she walked away tomorrow, she’d make sure she didn’t replace the bull’s-eye with a heart broken beyond repair, and haunting memories.
Decision made, she pushed her chair back, and stood. “Did you get a room?”
Rather than living her fantasy, she would give them theirs and take nothing more from them. No enjoyment, no dreams, not one more thing.
Maybe she’d walk away with something she hadn’t had in years.
Peace.

I received an eARC copy of this book in return for an honest review. This story is incredibly sexy and seductive and extremely addictive. I was hooked from beginning to end. The characters in this story all wanted the same things and couldn't live without the other. The realness of the story made me feel like I was actually in the story watching every part of the it unfold and climax to an amazing ending. Broken heart, a lost business, money less and the sex was just phenomenal. The author knows how to capture her audience and keep us entertained through the whole story. This a RECOMMENDED READ for all erotica lovers who love an awesome story and amazing sex that will blow your mind and elevate your libido. Thank you, Kim Carmichael, for an extraordinary story that I believe to be my favorite one yet.

**CAUTION:READER DISCRETION ADVISED**

1. Most of my favorite authors are indie or self-pubbed, what made me you decide to go that route?
Honestly that is just where I ended up. I got publishing contracts without an agent.

2. What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?
That I am a plotter and pretty organized. I usually think I'm a hot mess.

3. Which of your characters are you most like? Least like?
I think I am most like Lauren in Trifecta and least like Leora in The Promise.

4. Do you have a particular writing habit?
Yes, I really love to be at my desk with my feet up dog on lap and Bravo on in the background.

5. If you had to choose, which writer would you consider a mentor?
I have had many mentors. Louisa Bacio has been very kind to me and Sascha Illvych has been very good to me.

6. Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest?
I love Piper Kay and Chelle.

7. What is the hardest part of your writing?
Letting go and letting the writing take over and stop worrying about all the "rules."

8. Do you have any advice for other writers?
Always try to better yourself. Never stop learning your craft.

9. Describe yourself in three words.
Crazy, Anal, Funny

10. I know characters are like children but if you could chose, who’s your favorite from your books? Of all time?
Ivan from book two of the Indelibly Marked Series

11. Any song or songs that could basically sum up the overall mood of your writing?
I have a few songs that always tend to make it into my playlists:
This is the Last Time – Keane
Sweet Child 'O Mile – GNR
Love Story – Taylor Swift (Don't judge me)
Someone to Save You – One Republic

12. Do you plot out your books or just freely write them and let the characters tell you what to do next?
A mixture, but I tend to plot and know key scenes. Then I write for a bit and then I will have a full blown scene outline until the end so I make sure that everything gets accomplished.

13. If you had to choose, which writer would you consider the biggest influence in your writing?
Johanna Lindsay. She's just fun. I want people to smile when they read my work.

14. What are your current projects? Can you share a little of your current work with us?
Right now I am diligently working the Indelibly Marked Series. It is a 9 book contemporary romance series that revolves around the loves and lives surrounding a fictional tattoo shop in Hollywood.
I have Trifecta releasing soon and will share some of that:
Airports only held two paths, arrivals or departures. Before she made a move, she observed her surroundings. A man stood at the bottom with a bouquet of roses, and a woman holding a baby looked around for her match. Another group of women huddled together bouncing, pointing and screaming.

She wondered how many were there to tell their two best friends, the two men they loved that they were leaving.

“Laurie!”

She grabbed the railing, willing the escalator to stop because she was sure she didn't hear right. Only one person called her by that name. The only homing device she needed to insure he was here in this crowd was to turn where every other woman within a twelve-mile radius stared.

No matter if you were near or far, Jason Morgan was a sight you had to take in.

She made it to the bottom and headed straight for the beacon of blond hair. Today he was playing the role of someone between a rock star and a secret agent, with his tall frame draped in black pants, jacket and turtleneck.
She had lived with this man for six years. Spent countless hours with him. Yet still, to this day, when he moved his hair aside and peered at her over the pair of black rimmed sunglasses he decided to wear even at night, her insides bubbled, every nerve-ending overflowing with excitement, need and yearning.

“We heard the flight was rough, and I decided to come in and get you.” He held his arms out.

“I hate flying.” She stepped back, resisting his hug. "They prepared us for a bad landing."

“I know, but it's better than your driving. How many promises did you make to yourself if the plane landed and you didn’t die?” He wiggled his fingers.

“Just one.” The biggest one yet. The longer she stayed, the longer she would never have her own family, her own home, stability. She would always be the third wheel on the bicycle. Unneeded, unfulfilled and wobbly. Still, she allowed his fingers to lure her into his arms.

Instead of being pulled into one of his big-brother hugs, he held her out by her shoulders.

She stumbled at being stopped, tripping on both her feet and her suitcase.

“I got you.” Jason caught her, startling her with a kiss on the lips before he helped her stand. “Let’s go, Russ is driving in circles.”

Again, she floundered on her feet. In the millions of kisses she received from this man, he never kissed her on the mouth, his lips lingering. The bubbles already throughout her body began to explode, leaving her tingling and terrified.

“Careful.” He grabbed her arm to steady her, kissed her again, and took the handle of her suitcase. “You okay?”
Another matching kiss left her without any strength in her legs. She needed to remember her resolve. “I need to talk to you guys.”

He put his arm around her. “Well it will have to wait. We have a surprise for you.”

The kisses alone surprised her enough. Caught in a stare, she didn't notice they’d left the airport until the hot Southern California air, even in the middle of October, blasted over her.

“Jason, I really need to tell you both something.” No surprises, no kisses, nothing but her talking to them and taking charge. She needed to live like everyone else.

“There he is.” Jason lifted his arm.

The vision of living like everyone else dissipated as Jason guided her to a massive red monster truck with silver rims, huge tires and a step to get inside.

“What is this?” At first she backed away, but the door to the truck opened and she found herself staring right into Russell’s face. He wasn’t the freeway stopping traffic jam Jason was, Russell reminded her of a 1950's leading man. The man with the dark tailored suit, combed back hair and bursting brain who would come home with his briefcase of important work and still have time to help his children with their homework then make love to his to wife every night.

While Jason was unattainable, Russell was the kind of man someone could have if they were only a little prettier, a little smarter or a little better.
