A World of Turmoil and Yearning...

Wunder may have a normal life now…well, as normal as a freak of nature could have. Half zombie while her job is to hunt bloodthirsty creatures to protect the innocent. It’s the dreams that haunt her and they aren’t nightmares. Wunder dreams of a man, a man made just for her. Is he real, can he be the one she‘s yearned for?
Pete’s world is a lonely one as he wrestles with the reality of being part zombie. His hatred for the creatures that killed his parents drives him to patrol the streets and wipe them all out. His life would be stark, but for the dreams he’s been having; of a woman, so sensuous, so sexy. These alluring visions have become erotic and consuming. He feels as if he made her up to keep from going crazy. Is this life of hunting the walking dead, all there is? Or is she out there, waiting…just for him?

Wunder isn’t your average girl, in fact, she isn’t even an average human. In a world ravaged by Zombies, she was born amidst the chaos. Where can a girl like her find the man of her delicious dreams? She has an idea and it leads her to the hottest new club in town, where she finds what’s been missing in her life.

Pete has his own secrets to tell, and when they come together, another story unfolds while the sparks fly.

Most of my favorite authors are indie or self-pubbed, what made you decide to go that route?

A friend of mine that is also an author helped me with my decision. I do ADORE freedom and being an indie gives you tons of it!

What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?

That there are a never ending supply of characters in my head. I look forward to meeting each and every one of them :)

Which of your characters are you most like? Least like?

My favorite at the moment is Wunder. My least favorite is a character from another short I wrote named Than. He’s pure evil!

Do you have a particular writing habit??

I always have the music on (love my music!) I also always have Orbit bubblemint chewing gum and a bottle of water on my desk.  I need to have a window near me (open wide on nice days). I enjoy staring out and losing myself; I clear my mind by gazing out and losing focus until a thought or idea comes to mind (it does not always work, but it is fun to see where my mind goes). Oh and I ALWAYS have to write things down first, even if it’s just one sentence. It’s hard for me to motivate without something to look at. I guess it helps me stay on track. Make sense? lol

If you had to choose, which writer would you consider a mentor?

I actually do have a mentor. She pushed and prodded me then pushed me in the deepest of waters. Her name is Leanore Elliott. I would not have even thought to step foot into the writing world without her knowledge and guidance. I adore that woman. She’s really awesomeness at its finest :)

Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest?

Hmm… I’ve read so many books from new authors but one author comes to mind at the moment. Her name is Shelly Lee Schulz. So far I’ve only read a short from her. But it was a WOW type of short :)

What is the hardest part of your writing?

Getting everything out of my head in time. I forget so quickly if I don’t get at least part of my thoughts out. It sucks really

Do you have any advice for other writers?

Go for it! It will seem impossible at points, but you HAVE to give it a shot if it’s something you really want to do, live the dream. Also, NEVER compare yourself to another; find your own voice because it will speak the loudest!

Describe yourself in three words.

Honest
Adventurous
Fun

I know characters are like children but if you could chose, who’s your favorite from your books?

Of all time? From my books it stands at Wunder. Of all time, I’d have to go with Riley Jenson from the Riley Jenson Guardian series. She’s so kick A$$!

Any song or songs that could basically sum up the overall mood of your writing?

Right now as I type the song that comes to mind is “Heads Will Roll” by the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs…

Do you plot out your books or just freely write them and let the characters tell you what to do next?

A combination actually. I write out some key points and it usually flows from there. Key word…usually!

If you had to choose, which writer would you consider the biggest influence in your writing?

I just can’t choose one. So many have inspired me to be my own voice because each had their very own and each was very strong and always fed my imagination to the point of bursting :)

What are your current projects? Can you share a little of your current work with us?

I have quite a few things going on. I’m almost through with Wunder (#2 Reunion). I started on Wunder (#3 Team Work) and I have a series of flashes I’ve been writing that I plan to turn into a novel. I’m also writing a dragon shifter series that I’ve planned for a very long time but have not put together. I’m very excited about it (I LOVE dragons!) Oh and I have some side projects with various authors in the works. It’s all very exciting and I cannot wait to share with everyone
A.R. is a mother of two entertaining teen boys (as well as a lovely fawn Chihuahua, whom she considers her furry daughter.) She’s also a wife to a delightfully handsome and amazingly funny man-beast. She’s an avid reader of many genres which include (but are not limited to) erotica, paranormal, ménage, thriller, fantasy, YA, western (have to love a hot cowboy or two here and there) and some historical. She also loves to exercise, listen to music, hike, cook, dance and write.
She writes to free her mind of its constant wondering and loves the fact she can share it with readers that have the same passion for a great story.
She also loves to hear from her reader’s and chat away, so feel free to reach out to her any time
