Twenty-three-year-old Hayden Carlson never led an exciting life, but that was how she preferred it. She never expected that an innocent trail ride in the woods would change her life forever.
Suddenly, Hayden is pulled into a world she never knew existed and discovers a future awaits her there she isn’t prepared to accept...until she meets the mysterious Jasper. Drawn to his quiet, conflicted spirit and entranced by his blue eyes, Hayden finds herself experiencing feelings she has never felt before and wondering where all this might lead.
Hayden’s presence in Quelondain creates tension. Amidst constant danger, she finds true love and through it all determines where she will take her stand in the conflict her arrival ignites between good and evil.

What are your thoughts on book covers- in your opinion do they make or break a book?
I definitely think they can make or break a book. While I always read the back to see if I think I’ll like the book, I’m more likely to pick up a nice cover as opposed to one that looks cheaply made. It’s sad because I think a lot of good stories get passed up because of this.
What’s the last song you listened to?
Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran
How do you come up with character names? How do you come up with novel titles?
With Character names, I usually try to come up with something simple that is easy to remember, but not too common.
As for titles, I try to match it up to something important to the story. Angered Seasons is about a pissed off Mother Nature. Faerie Dreams is about a girl who dreams about a faerie world and wakes up there. The Chosen One Trilogy is about, well, the Chosen One. lol
Do you have any advice for anyone that would like to be an author?
Write what you love, don’t take bad reviews to heart, and spend the money on a good editor. Trust me. It will be worth it. :)
